What and Why I'm Sharing
I now write to you almost 4 years into motherhood. I've been wanting to do this for the last 2.5 years, but the fear, the excuses have gotten the best of me! Although I've taken notes and pictures throughout the years, some things have been forgotten.
Do I have a hang of everything...HELL NO! However, I do want to share what's worked for me while I was home on maternity leave (a.k.a. total survival mode), during my work travels, the days of coping and other days loving toddlerhood as well as things that have helped me get back to "myself" or rather "my new self".
I want to share things that I do now to help me be the best version of myself, because if I don't take care of me, I can't efficiently take care of anyone around me! <-- THIS was one of the hardest things for me to understand and deal with, but made a great difference in my life!
I want to share how I cope with guilt...because I find the need to cope with that one every single day since I became a mother.
I want to share the importance of being present within all areas of your lives.
I also want to share my moments of weaknesses with you guys, because without showing vulnerability, we're hiding behind a mask! I don't want to hide...I want to help, inspire and make you all smile, because world is just a better place when people are smiling :)
After becoming a mother, I felt that I tapped in to some superpowers that I never knew existed within me before. They came out through different emotions and thoughts. I believe that motherhood is one of the toughest and at the same time most rewarding experiences one goes through.
This community is here to support any and all of the experiences...and bring out the best versions of ourselves we can be!
